Three Pledges for the New Year
Art Prompt: Create an image that represents three pledges you want to make to yourself in the upcoming new year.
Materials: Markers, paper
My Art Response
This prompt helped me focus on what I want to carry forward, rather than what I want to leave behind. I set three pledges that felt achievable but still challenged me to stay accountable. Each color I chose represented a different intention, something tied to consistency, growth, and self-discipline. The process reminded me that meaningful change often comes from small, deliberate actions, not dramatic resolutions. By the end, the image felt like a visual contract with myself. It captured both ambition and compassion, two qualities that I hope to balance in the year ahead.

What has kept you from staying consistent in the past, and what supportive structures or habits could help you stay grounded this time?
If you could promise your future self one thing that would genuinely support your mental health, what would that promise be?
