Hey, I’m Candace!
I graduated with my Master’s in the Science of Counseling and have my Associate Counselor License (LAC) in New Jersey. My goal is to create a comfortable environment and build strong rapport with clients, where clients feel seen, heard, and valued. I specialize in managing symptoms of low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, trauma, and emotional regulation. I have experience in working with teens, adults, and children who may be experiencing symptoms of stress, lack of motivation, guilt, trauma, and negative thought patterns.
I deeply value the privilege of being entrusted with the role of supporting someone during their healing journey. My goal is to honor you or your child’s specific needs and aim to create an authentic relationship built on strong rapport. I am happy to discuss struggles from a Christian faith-based perspective, but I also pull from different modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused, Dialectical Behavior (DBT), mindfulness, and strength-based approach. With a passion for creativity and expressing oneself, I am here to walk with you through talking, creating artwork, or both as you process your challenges, manage symptoms, and work towards your individual goals.
