Hey, I’m Abbie!
In the midst of life's chaos, finding a moment to breathe and reflect can help you regain balance and perspective. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Art Therapist, I strive to offer that moment—a welcoming and healing space where teens and adults can feel comfortable and supported. I know that sometimes finding the right words to express what's going on inside can be challenging, and that's where I come in. I specialize in talk therapy, offering a safe place where you can openly discuss your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. But if talking isn't enough or if you're looking for another way to express yourself, I also use art and creativity as powerful tools to support our work together. Whether we’re using words, art, or a combination of both, I’m here to help you navigate your emotions and find clarity.
I specialize in helping clients manage symptoms of anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, trauma, emotion dysregulation, and addictive behaviors. I truly believe that you know yourself best, so I work from a person-centered approach, tailoring our sessions to fit your unique needs. Depending on what feels right for you, I also draw from various therapeutic modalities like Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Reality Therapy.
Whether we're talking, creating art, or a mix of both, I'm here to support you through life's challenges. Together, we can tackle stress, manage symptoms, and help you reach your goals. I'm also certified as a Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), so I bring specialized knowledge to our sessions. Let's work together to find the best path forward for you!
