Joe Italiano’s Maplewood

Joe Italian’s Maplewood is a traditional spot in South Jersey housing authentic Italian cuisine. I didn’t learn about this place for many years until someone asked me if I had ever been to the place on the black horse pike that makes their own pasta. I heard “homemade pasta” and knew it was a must. The Maplewood is a “vibe” as soon as you enter the restaurant, and the menu is diverse and DELICIOUS. Everyone knows Olive Garden as the place to be with the salad and breadsticks that come before your meal, but Maplewood does the same, but what makes it different is that they make it all in house!

These photos above feature their fun valentines drink menu that also included mocktails and other fun drinks to enjoy with a friend, coworker, boyfriend, or spouse! The meal I got that I will likely get all of the times that I return was shrimp and crab in a white wine sauce over their homemade pasta. Joe Italiano’s Maplewood began in 1945, and continued on to grow in location and in love from all who speak about their dinner experience here. From appetizers, sauces, soups, and sides to pasta, seafood, chicken, steak and veal, you won’t be disappointed.

History:

Joe Italiano is the founder of Joe Italiano’s Maplewood. The restaurant was named after the maple tree on the Hammonton property where it all began. It is a family affair where Joe’s son Jimmy has continued the legacy and they now have 3 locations. Jimmy’s entire family is involved in the growing of greatness this restaurant has brought to South Jersey. Their three locations now include Hammonton, Moorestown, and Mays Landing.

A Family Affair

“We love what we do.  So, our secret ingredient is TLC [tender loving care].  Really.  We take customer satisfaction seriously,” says Robin Italiano, co-owner and wife of Jimmy Italiano.  “We care about our guests.  We’re not just bringing consistently good Italian food to the table, but also a long-held family tradition of dedication to exceptional hospitality, Italian-style!”

They provide different menus depending on the location that you are closest to: Mays Landing Menu, Hammonton Menu, and Moorestown Menu
