I'm Kelli!

Being an athlete my whole life, I had always thought that exercise was the key to a healthy life. It was not until my brother was diagnosed with schizophrenia at age 21 that I learned about the world of emotional and mental health. No amount of difficult workouts prepared me enough for the situation unfolding at home. Experiencing a severe mental health illness sweep through my family forced me to reevaluate my life. I thought I lost my closest sibling, the growing friendship and the foundation of my family system. I was forced to explore more deeply into myself, my relationships & lean heavily into my passions. Without having that experience & being forced to change my perspective, I am confident that I would not have accomplished all I have today. Now, over 10 years later, I live a well-rounded lifestyle where I challenge myself to grow in all ways possible. I started this practice in hopes that we could help you achieve that, too.

Mindfully Active focuses on bettering the whole person: Assisting growth in all areas of desired improvement. The goal of Mindfully Active is to bridge the societal gap between mental & physical health; because there are more ways to improve your health than just the number of times you hit the gym each week!
