Is this for me

Look, we’re not going to tell you therapy is all sunshine & rainbows. We wish it were, but it’s uncomfortable work. Your brain has been protecting you from looking more deeply into why you do what you do, because sometimes that’s easier in the moment but not the long run :/ Therapy will force you to step outside of your comfort zone in order to challenge and change unhealthy patterns in your life.

It’s Consistent

You need to be consistent with your sessions & your at-home work. We see the most growth when you are attending your sessions weekly. You will explore your patterns in session with your therapist. The therapist will encourage you to try things throughout the week and report back.

It’s a commitment

Yea, sorry. This is not something you try for two weeks then bail. Or expect to find a “new you” within the first month. Just know that the most success comes from committing fully to the therapeutic work. We are unable to tell you exactly how long you will need therapy. The length is determined by the course of treatment and the goals that you are creating for yourself.

It’s not forever

We want to see you grow! We will always be here for you if you need us, but we really love when you implement the changes and stick to new ways of thinking and living.

It’s uncomfortable

Very. Therapy forces you to challenge your most ingrained ways of thinking & living.
